Hello! My name is Debora, and I live on a beautiful island off the coast of Maine. There are over 4,000 islands that dot the rocky coastline of this country’s most northern territory. Living here most of my life inspired my first work of fiction, “Dingley Island,” a story of magik and family ties that bind people together.

I am a single mother who raised two children and helped nurture many more over the past two decades as a nursery school teacher and caregiver. I enjoy teaching people about the natural world and the history of themselves.

This year has changed a lot of people’s plans, and made us all step back into to what needs more work in our inner lives. For this decade, I hope to publish my other books, Dingley Island, In and Out of Balance (a prequel) and, The Daughters of Veah.
